Exhibition Rules and Privacy Policy
‘PlayX4’ has established the following processing policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act to protect users’ personal information and rights and to smoothly process users’ complaints related to personal information. If the personal information processing policy is revised, it will be announced through a website notice.
This policy will be effective from January 1, 2025.
KINTEX (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’) establishes and discloses the following personal information processing guidelines in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect the personal information of the information subject and to quickly and smoothly process complaints related thereto.
Article 1 (Purpose of processing personal information)
The company processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act will be taken.
1. Website membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the following purposes: confirmation of intent to register as a member, identification and authentication of the individual in accordance with the provision of membership services, maintenance and management of membership qualifications, identity verification in accordance with the implementation of the limited identity verification system, prevention of unauthorized use of services, confirmation of consent of legal representatives when processing personal information of children under the age of 14, various notifications and notices, and complaint handling.
2. Provision of goods or services
Personal information is processed for the purposes of providing exhibition/convention services (participation in booths, entry into exhibitions, etc.), content provision, customized service provision, identity verification, age verification, payment and settlement of expenses, etc.
3. Complaint handling
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming the identity of the complainant, confirming the complaint, contacting and notifying for fact-finding, and notifying the processing results.
4. Exhibition satisfaction survey
Personal information is processed for the purposes of exhibition satisfaction, complaint survey, etc.
5. Use for marketing and advertising
We process personal information for the purpose of providing new and customized services, providing event and advertising information and participation opportunities, providing services and advertising according to demographic characteristics, etc. In addition, we may contact the information subject using the personal information for the purpose of promoting or soliciting sales of goods or services.
6. Personal information collection items and status
- Personal information collection items (required): Login ID, name, gender, mobile phone number, category (general/business), email, residence, age group, date of birth
- Personal information collection items (optional): Affiliation (company name), phone, survey
- Collection method: Website (web/mobile), written form, online/offline events, etc.
- Basis for retention: Consent to personal information processing policy upon signing up for membership
Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)
1. The company processes and retains personal information within the period of personal information retention and use stipulated by law or the period of personal information retention and use agreed upon by the information subject when collecting personal information.
2. The processing and retention periods for each personal information are as follows.
1) Website membership registration and management: Until withdrawal from the website
However, in the following cases, until the end of the relevant reason
- In the case of an investigation or inquiry due to violation of relevant laws and regulations, until the end of the relevant investigation
2) Provision of goods or services: Until the completion of the supply of goods or services and completion of payment and settlement of fees

• Records of contract or subscription withdrawal, payment, supply of goods, etc.: 5 years
• Records of consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
Article 3 (Provision of personal information to third parties)
1. The company processes the personal information of the information subject only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and may provide personal information to a third party in cases falling under Article 17 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as consent from the information subject or special provisions of the law.
2. The company may provide personal information to a third party as follows:

• Purpose of use of personal information by the recipient: Complaint handling, exhibition satisfaction survey, performance inspection, etc.
• Personal information items provided: Login ID, name, gender, mobile phone number, category (general/business), email, residence, age group, date of birth, affiliation (company name), phone, survey
• Retention and use period: 3 years
Article 4 (Consignment of Personal Information Processing)
1. The company entrusts the personal information processing work as follows for smooth personal information processing.

- Contents of entrusted work: Website management, maintenance
- Entrustment period: Upon termination of the entrustment contract
- (Entrustor): KINTEX (Entrustee): Syspoyou
- Contents of entrusted work: Participating companies, visitor entry registration management
- Entrustment period: Upon termination of the entrustment contract
- (Entrustor): KINTEX (Entrustee): Humus On Co., Ltd.
- Contents of entrusted work: Event information E-MAIL and marketing SMS sending service
- Entrustment period: Upon termination of the entrustment contract
2. When concluding an entrustment contract, the company, in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, states in a contract or other document matters related to the prohibition of processing personal information other than the purpose of the entrusted work, technical and administrative protection measures, restrictions on re-entrustment, management and supervision of the entrustee, compensation for damages, etc., and supervises whether the entrustee safely processes personal information.
3. If the content of the entrusted work or the trustee changes, we will disclose it without delay through this personal information processing policy.
Article 5 (Rights and Duties of Information Subjects and Method of Exercising)
1. The information subject may exercise the following personal information protection rights against the company at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors, etc.
- Request for deletion
2. The rights under paragraph 1 may be exercised against the company in writing, by phone, by e-mail, etc., and the company will take action without delay.
3. If the information subject requests correction or deletion of personal information due to errors, etc., the company will not use or provide the personal information in question until the correction or deletion is completed.
4. The rights under paragraph 1 may be exercised through an agent, such as the information subject's legal representative or authorized person. In this case, a power of attorney in the format of Appendix 11 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.
5. The information subject shall not infringe upon the personal information or privacy of the information subject or others that the company is processing in violation of the Personal Information Protection Act or other related laws.
Article 6 (Items of personal information to be processed)
The company processes the following personal information items.
1. Website membership registration and management
- Required items: name, contact information, email, affiliated organization, department, member type survey, employee (group), recommender (ID or name), survey
2. Service provision
- Required items: name, contact information, email, affiliated organization, department, member type survey, employee (group), recommender (ID or name), survey
3. The following personal information items may be automatically generated and collected during the use of Internet services.
- IP address, cookies, MAC address, device information, service usage history, visit history, bad usage history, etc.
Article 7 (Destruction of personal information)
1. When personal information becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period or the achievement of the processing purpose, the company destroys the relevant personal information without delay.
2. When the retention period of personal information agreed upon by the information subject has expired or the processing purpose has been achieved, but personal information must be retained in accordance with other laws and regulations, the personal information is transferred to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different storage location.
3. The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows.
- Destruction procedure: The company immediately destroys personal information for which a reason for destruction has occurred.
- Destruction method: The company destroys personal information recorded and stored in electronic file formats by using methods such as deleting DB data so that the records cannot be reproduced, and personal information recorded and stored in paper documents is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 8 (Measures to ensure the safety of personal information)
The company is taking the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information.
1. Administrative measures: Establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular employee training, etc.
2. Technical measures: Management of access rights to personal information processing systems, access control, encryption of unique identification information, etc., installation of security programs

Article 9 (Matters concerning installation, operation and rejection of automatic personal information collection devices)
1. The company may use ‘cookies’ to store and periodically retrieve usage information in order to provide personalized services to users.

The information subject may inquire about all personal information protection-related inquiries, complaint handling, damage relief, etc. that arise while using the company's services (or business) to the personal information protection department. Article 13 (Installation and operation of image information processing equipmen)
1. KINTEX installs and operates video information processing equipment as follows. - Basis and purpose of installing video information processing devices: KINTEX facility safety and fire prevention
